Outfit sets, aka Aloha Sets or Co Ord sets, are gaining in popularity in the fashion world. A Co Ord set, also called Co-Ordinated set, is a top and bottom set made from the same material with matching design elements to give them a uniform look. We believe the modern outfit set trend (for men) started in or around 2017 with a few fashion brands that offered them as part of a seasonal collection. Quite a few other brands quickly reproduced the concept making the outfit set more widely available. We believe the trend really took off when Hawaiian prints joined the party bucking the tradition of using floral designs only on button down shirts.
Nowadays you can't go to the beach or a summer festival without seeing an outfit set on at a least a few dudes. Opinions vary on whether or not this is actually cool or fashionable. We personally think it is a fun way to stand out from a crowd and that's why we were the first mountain wear company to make our own set. To point out the obvious, you don't actually have to wear it as an outfit in the first place. You can dress it up and wear the shirt with nice pants or wear the shorts with a t-shirt when you go to the gym.
